Requirements: You need to be aged 19 or over to register for this course. You will need a minimum of NVQ level 2, or comparable qualification, in the area you are assessing.

You will need to be able to assess a minimum of two different apprentices studying towards a qualification you are looking to become an assessor for, we will be able to assist with this requirement.

The Assessors Course Details

The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement is an exciting and comprehensive qualification that will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to embark on a rewarding career as a vocational assessor.

This qualification is specifically designed for individuals aged 19 years or older and offers the opportunity to develop your vocational assessor skills by covering all the essential requirements for this role.

Delivered through two flexible models, this course ensures that you have the convenience and flexibility to learn at your own pace.

Option 1 is the distance learning model, where you will receive detailed assignment briefs and recommended reading materials to guide your learning. You will provide video evidence of assessments conducted in a work environment, allowing you to display your knowledge and skills in real life, practical scenarios.

For those who prefer a more interactive learning experience, option 2 offers direct delivery through either a full-day Zoom session or an in-person session at a designated centre. Alternatively, you can opt for two shorter sessions, with one at the beginning of your course and another a month later.

Following the sessions, you will complete assignments in your own time, within a specified timeframe of six months.

To ensure the development of your assessment capabilities, direct observation of your performance as an assessor or video evidence of your assessments will be submitted for evaluation. As part of the training process, you will have the opportunity to complete a paper-based portfolio, which will be countersigned and transferred to an e-portfolio by a qualified assessor during a visit.

The VTCT Level 3 Certificate also emphasizes the importance of Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) procedures, which will be followed in accordance with the requirements set by Kleek Training. This ensures that the assessment process maintains high standards and accuracy.
