The NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing Details
The NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing focuses on creativity in terms of styling, colouring and cutting.
The course will be delivered in person at Kleek Academy Darlington or Kleek Academy Colchester and will take 12 months to complete.
A minimum of an NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing qualification (or equivalent) is required to enrol.
The course includes the following units of training:

Consultation - Develop effective consultation techniques to understand clients' needs, preferences, and expectations.

Creatively Style & Dress Hair - Explore advanced hair styling techniques to create non-conventional looks.

Creative Colour - Experiment with a range of techniques and colour combinations.

Colour Correction - Extend your knowledge to amend hair colouring issues.

Creative Cutting - Use a combination of cutting techniques such as layering, disconnecting and graduating.

Salon Strategy Planning - Develop strategic plans and schedules to optimise salon operations and workflow.
- Health & Safety - Understand and implement comprehensive health and safety protocols within the salon environment.
Assessment is a mixture of practical observations, online tests, assignments and workbooks.
